Anyone who wants to convince other people of the benefits of technical development will be well advised to have a thorough understanding of the material they want to explain. I am an engineer in a discipline dealing with metals and have extensive professional experience in different sectors of the metalworking, electronics and IT industry. This basic knowledge allows me to quickly grasp the essentials of new technologies and describe them correctly. Having myself been responsible for the results to be obtained, I am able to put myself in the place of my readers regarding their thoughts and their motivations. In this context, I can therefore write “professional to professional” articles containing exactly the information that interests the technician, in a compact and well-illustrated format.
My vocation for journalism came by chance: in 1994, during my work as a technical and sales engineer for a mechanical engineering company, I was entrusted with the management of the technical journals of the professional federation of German foundry engineers. Three and a half years later, I decided to strike out on my own with my own editorial office. Since then, I have written more than 1,500 technical articles published in more than a hundred specialized engineering journals. My activities are mainly focused on writing publications in German in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. In addition, I also collaborate on a number of titles in Great Britain, the United States and France.
